Practicing in Silicon Valley since 1967, Mr. Hamrick has been responsible for the preparation and prosecution of more than 3,000 U.S. and foreign patents. Many patents he has filed and prosecuted have provided substantial IP protection and brought substantial royalty income to his clients. Other patents have contributed to his clients' ability to achieve and maintain dominant positions in their industries. Mr. Hamrick is a former Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Hamrick's expertise is in preparation and prosecution of complex U.S. and International patent and trademark applications, licensing and sale of IP rights, patent and trademark litigation support, patent validity and infringement analysis, and re-examination challenge of issued patents. He has special technology experience in gas and solid state lasers and light sources, semiconductor devices, semiconductor manufacturing and inspection equipment, computer hardware and software, magnetic and optical storage devices, electronic instrumentation, medical devices, NMR spectrometry, chromatography, computed tomography, industrial control and mass flow meter devices, aeronautics, machine tools, and concrete structures.
